Alas, the treasure hunt is now over. We had hundreds of entrants (winners below) and plenty of great stories came out of it. Until next year, m' hearties!
This year's winners: Tallulah Nolan, Susannah Brown, Bedict Welfare, Rosie Harry, Dylan Sterio, Zac Smith, Mia Last, Laurent List, Kirsty Shaw, Ben Sharrock, Isobel Connolly, Weronika Davis, Jack O'Connor, Alex Jones, Nessa Hand, Katelyn Ellis, Ayesha Malik, Finn Brognard and Sam Jones.
Up for some fun? And prizes? And discovering a few more independents in your area? Awesome.
Following on from the success of our last TAG! Treasure Hunt we thought we'd see if we could top it with a new one, which will be running throughout June.
This time round you're in with a chance to win a bunch of great prizes. They've all been kindly donated by businesses in and around Didsbury, so you can thank them personally.
And – to top it all off – all of the Treasure Hunt businesses offer exclusive deals & discounts to TAG! cardholders, so don't forget your cards.
(Yaarrghhh! That's a pirate noise. 'Coz of the treasure. You'll pick it up...)
Firstly you'll need to get a treasure map. These can be picked up from:
Once you've got your map you can collect tokens from the businesses listed on the map next time you're wandering around Didsbury. Add a spot of Pritt Stick to the back of each token, glue it to the map and hand it in at Rumpus Toy Shop.
The deadline for entries is 5pm on Saturday, 30th June. Winners will be notified the next day.
TAG!'s designated charity for this event is Francis House Children's Hospice, a wonderful organisation local to Didsbury. If you're feeling generous during your hunting there will be donation boxes in all of the stop-off points, and if you buy a TAG! card half the money will be donated.
As a special bonus, hunters with TAG! cards can get a free goodie from the Co-op on Burton Rd.
A huge thanks to all of our sponsors who have been integral in funding the Treasure Hunt, with an extra special thankyou to the lovely people at United Utilities for a Didsbury United Utilities Community Fund award.
